D is for Direct Marketing. Most of the time today, speaker bookers are approached through phone, email or online submission form. So what actually gets their attention? Items sent in the old fashioned mail. Sending postcards, books or printed flyers in the mail is actually a novelty today. So consider using the US Mails to get a booker to sit up and take notice!
