Terms of Use and Non-Sharing Agreement

By purchasing a SpeakerTunity® product, subscription or membership, I agree that I do not have permission to sell, distribute, or otherwise share the information provided within, except to share with my administrative team for booking purposes.

This includes agreeing not to share directories in any of the downloadable or viewable formats including the web dashboard, Excel spreadsheet, CSV file, or PDF file.

Because of the nature of our products, lists and data collection practices, SpeakerTunity® is unable to offer refunds once the product has been fulfilled.

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies solely to information collected by this web site. It will notify you of the following:

  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you through the web site, how it is used and with whom it may be shared.
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.
  4. How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

How and Why We Collect Information

We collect your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you register to download a book or resources, sign up for our newsletter, and/or purchase a product from us, we collect your information. We use this information to track your preferences and to keep you informed about the products and services you have selected to receive and any related products and/or services. As a visitor to this Website, you can engage in most activities without providing any personal information. It is only when you seek to download resources and/or register for services that you are required to provide information.

If you are in the European Union and opt to receive any free resources, participate in any free training programs, register for a webinar, register for a live event, register for a seminar, or purchase any products sold on this Website, we will only send you information if you affirmatively consent to it, by clicking on the confirmation link in the first email we send you. If you do not wish to receive our emails, you can unsubscribe anytime. We include an “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of every email we send.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to our merchant services in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. We do not receive nor store your payment information…except for the last four digits of your card, for reference only.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This enables us to both fulfill and support the products you purchase.

By signing up to our mailing list, you agree that we may process your information in accordance with these terms.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason (i.e. newsletter subscription and marketing messages), we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and provide you with an opportunity to withdraw your consent. USE OF ‘COOKIES

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the software application SpeakerTunity® Mobile App (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created for SpeakerTunity®. The Application is a free mobile app that aids leaders who desire to drive their business through speaking.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Application unless you register with us.

When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide: (a) Your name, email address, password, and other registration information; (b) Transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases, respond to any offers, or download or use applications from us; (c) Information you provide us when you contact us for help; (d) Credit card information for purchase and use of the Application; and (e) Information you enter into our system when using the Application, such as contact information and project management information.

We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and our service. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Statement.

We may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;

  • If Content Delivery Technologies Inc, the developer of this app platform, is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at thefolks@speakertunity.com.

Data retention policy, managing your information

We will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain automatically collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete user-provided data that you have provided via the Application, please contact us at thefolks@speakertunity.com, and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the user-provided data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at thefolks@speakertunity.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop, or improve our Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
