Get Booked, Public Speaker! – Tips From A to Z | Tip H

Tip H

So I’ve filled up the SpeakerTunity® You Tube Channel with tons of useful content for speakers, leaders and authors seeking to use speaking as a way to attract clients–and to get booked for those gigs.. Yet, I still have more tips for you! So we’re going to cover them from A to Z, short tips which pack a big wallop!

Today’s Tip is …..

H is for Handouts. Before you show up for the interview, connect with the booker about whether there is an opportunity to provide either promotional handouts, or content handouts branded with your logo and contact information. I’ve been many speakers show up empty handed while other speakers came prepared. With your handouts, find out how these might be distributed–a “seat-drop” with flyers on each chair or table setting, or perhaps handed out by your team or their team –and at what point in the presentation. Can you ask for an evaluation form to be filled out?   Know what will be allowed, and if you can, take advantage of these. Your handouts can turn into more bookings!

So this one in a series of 26, presented by SpeakerTunity Cities Regional Speaker Lead Directories. If you like this tip, please subscribe to the SpeakerTunity® You Tube Channel so you can get the other 25, and see all of the more extended segments we’ve posted to help you get booked locally and across North America.
