Describe the work that you do.
I deal with PTMSD. POST TRAUMATIC MILITARY SPOUSE DISORDER: I work with Military Spouses and Former Military spouses. The spouses contribute so much to the process, yet their contribution is often overlooked. Also, I work with military spouses experiencing domestic abuse, either physical or emotional. Being married to a career military man takes a set of skills like no other. Most important, self value and identity is so important.
Who do you serve/who is your preferred audience?
Military Spouses and Former Military Spouses.
How do you transform your audience?
My audience can relate to me and know I understand them. In addition to being a Certified, Professional Life Coach, I am a former Military Spouse of 27 years. I moved on average every two years. I also experienced domestic abuse and understand how difficult it is to take action.

Title: HAVE YOU HAD TO START OVER EVERY COUPLE OF YEARS TO SUPPORT YOUR MILITARY SPOUSE?
Description: Having had to move about every two years to support my former military spouse's career I offer tools and resources I gained from experience. My former spouse's field required moving into the community, not onto base housing. I understand how to acclimate kids to new schools, find new jobs, and become a part of a community, over and over again.

Why would a booker choose you (sell yourself a bit)?
I am a professional but just as important I am a former military spouse. I can understand and relate to my audience.
I have the tools to guide military spouses through the journey of constantly acclimating to moving. Also, having experienced physical and emotional abuse, I understand and know how to take action.
My turning point story: I suffered years of spousal abuse. After my former spouse retired from the military, I was brave enough to call for help. I always felt that if I called while he was still with the military I would ruin his career and the financial stability of my family. It was after I called (27 years too late), that I discovered there had been resources and ways to survive. I know what I am talking about. I have been there. I now have professional speaking skills to be able to share my story and help spouses feel safe to share theirs.

“I first came to Molly Anne when I needed advice on a specific problem, and immediately she helped me uncover how my reactions/emotions to that one problem revealed the underlying qualities that were causing me to react in the way that I was. In other words, Molly Anne tackles the causes of your problems, rather than simply solving an individual problem by itself.”

“Molly Anne Summers is an amazing life coach. Her kindness, compassion, and uplifting spirit truly touch the heart. I deeply value the time we’ve spent together and the tremendous progress she has helped me make in my life. I would still be stuck in “life after divorce” limbo, without any goals or direction in my life and I would not have this much courage to push forward without her support.”
