I deal with PTMSD. POST TRAUMATIC MILITARY SPOUSE DISORDER: I work with Military Spouses and Former Military spouses. The spouses contribute so much to the process, yet their contribution is often overlooked. Also, I work with military spouses experiencing domestic abuse, either physical or emotional. Being married to a career military man takes a set of skills like no other. Most important, self value and identity is so important.

My audience can relate to me and know I understand them. In addition to being a Certified, Professional Life Coach, I am a former Military Spouse of 27 years. I moved on average every two years. I also experienced domestic abuse and understand how difficult it is to take action.

I am a professional but just as important I am a former military spouse. I can understand and relate to my audience.
I have the tools to guide military spouses through the journey of constantly acclimating to moving. Also, having experienced physical and emotional abuse, I understand and know how to take action.
My turning point story: I suffered years of spousal abuse. After my former spouse retired from the military, I was brave enough to call for help. I always felt that if I called while he was still with the military I would ruin his career and the financial stability of my family. It was after I called (27 years too late), that I discovered there had been resources and ways to survive. I know what I am talking about. I have been there. I now have professional speaking skills to be able to share my story and help spouses feel safe to share theirs.
